May 8th-11th - Entertainment is always a focal point of the annual festival and this
year is no exception. You can be sure that as the oldest festival in
Oklahoma, this year's Rooster Days Festival will be one to remember!
The Broken Arrow Area Chamber of Commerce Rooster Days Committee has
put together an exciting lineup for your enjoyment. This year's
attractions also include a large new carnival for children of all ages
and a wide variety of food vendors with something to satisfy any
appetite.

Oklahoma City is now offering river cruises. They have a "fleet" of 3 cruisers, the Devon Discovery, Devon Explorer, and Devon Pioneer and they tour a seven-mile stretch of the beautiful Oklahoma River. The Cruisers will travel between Meridian Landing at SW 15th & Meridian
and Regatta Park Landing at SW 7th & Byres and depending on the type of cruise, they will carry 35-40
passengers each.
The Cruisers are expected to stimulate revitalization along the
riverfront while supporting tourism growth in the area as well as improving transportation between these areas and
reducing the demand for visitor parking. They will be offering 3 types of cruises Public Cruises, Themed Cruises, and Private Cruises. Prices vary but for adults it's $9 one-way, $12 round trip, and $18 for a 2 day pass. The cruises run from 8:30am to 5:30pm.
