Back in 2006 when it opened, it seemed like we were on our way to an urban club for the grown and sexy crowd in Bricktown. Well, in 2008 its still there, but it has degenerated to more of a rap/hip hop hangout with people wearing more baggy clothes than suits and dresses. The heavy security at the front door should be a clue on what to expect.

Honestly, I have to admit I didn't suspect this club would make it this long. I first visited Spyce back in April. It looks like they are doing everything the right way, and Oklahoma City may have to just deal with a GROWN & SEXY club in Bricktown for awhile. The crowd is great, a little bit of everything in terms of style really, but Spyce does a great job of keeping the rif raff out of the building. If you can afford to splurge, do the VIP access for sure. You get to jump the line and access to the VIP room which is a nice retreat especially if you have been dancing. The VIP room is never all that crowded and there is a great bar when you can get your drinks fast. All and all I'm impressed by Spyce, its definately making a name for itself in my book.
