  • Two dead after accidents on Oklahoma roads
    Two people have died since Thursday in separate accidents on Oklahoma roads, authorities said.

    Clayton Paul Cribb, 23, Eagletown

    Shortly before 1:30 a.m. Friday, Cribb was driving an all-terrain vehicle south on a McCurtain County road when he pulled out in front of a sport utility vehicle that was eastbound U.S. 70, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

    Cribb, who was not wearing a helmet, died at the scene, troopers said.

    The SUV's driver ? Whitney Rae Shott, 22, of DeQueen, Ark. ? was treated and released from an Arkansas hospital. A passenger in Shott's SUV wasn't hurt.

    Both SUV occupants were wearing their seat belt, troopers said.

  • Two shot at Tulsa apartment complex
    TULSA ? A man and a woman were shot Thursday at a Tulsa apartment complex, authorities said.

    The names of the victim's haven't been released.

    They were taken in serious condition to a local hospital after the shooting at Windsong Apartments, 9750 E 31st St. South, a police spokesman said.

    Those with information about the shooting are asked to call Tulsa Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-2677.

  • Information sought about bodies found in car in Spencer
    SPENCER -- The bodies of a man and woman were found in a car Friday by Oklahoma County sheriff's deputies.

    ?At this point it appears that both deceased had apparent head trauma,? spokesman Mark Myers said.

    Their identities have not been released, and the medical examiner hasn't examined the bodies yet.

    The sheriff's department received a call about 10:20 reporting suspicious activity at NE 34 and Wright Avenue, Myers said.
