skanks with staph
Reviewed by Cindy, 2008-10-21 16:25:06

Ive worked there for the past month. First thing I noticed when I walked into the dressing room was the standing puddle of water near the sink. I opened it up to look underneath , it was a huge mess. They had been letting it drip so long the water was beginning to turn brown they threw towels in there to soak up some of the water but it still poured out onto the dressing room floor. Girls walked in it and got on stage so you kno that bacteria is everywhere now. Everytime Id leave work Id start to itch really bad. They finally got a new sink but I still itched. I hate that place. I finally quit. Good money if you like to vibrate a mans crotch with your mouth but I couldnt handle the mess ne more. And all the people who work above you want to know about your personal life and sometimes they have people stalk you. Its kind of creepy. Not to mention half the girls have staph infections and they talk about it like its no big deal. Do yourself a favor, do not go to cloud 9. oh and btw..the hot girls u talk about r the ones in the back discussing how they have staph and eventually everyone will get it..nice.

The best thing about cloud 9 is the 1$ lap dances. they do it about once an hr. all the girls work the floor and give mini lap dances. it's good times for less money.

Usually not the best looking strippers in town. Sometimes there can be several really hot ones. that's a good night!

  • OKC district counters state?s teacher shortage trend

By TIM WILLERT Staff Writer This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it

Oklahoma City Public Schools will begin the 2015-16 school year Monday in much better shape than last year, despite a statewide teacher shortage that shows no sign of letting up.

The state's largest district, with about 46,000 students and 2,700 teachers, is reporting 54 vacancies compared to 150 at the beginning of the 2014-15 school year.

Shannon Freeman, director of recruitment, deployment and retention, credits a zero vacancy initiative that has resulted in the district landing teachers from Michigan, New York, Puerto Rico and Spain, for the improvement.

?The OKC School Board and Superintendent Rob Neu gave a tremendous amount of support to the creative recruiting initiatives of the Human Resources staffing team,? Freeman said in a statement.

The district also increased recruiting at colleges and universities in Oklahoma, improved efforts to attract and place student teachers, expanded the Urban Teacher Preparation Academy and partnered with Teach for America.

Spokesman Mark Myers said district recruiters ?moved mountains? to reduce vacancies.

?They went out and out and found highly qualified people to fill these positions,? he said Thursday following a kick-off event at State Fair Park to welcome back district teachers, administrators and other workers.

  • Boren orders ?full internal review? of OU baboon program

BY ANDREW KNITTLE Staff Writer This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it

Citing the public?s ?interest? in the University of Oklahoma?s use of animal testing to further scientific and academic research, OU President David Boren has ordered a ?full internal review? of a secretive baboon breeding facility in El Reno, a scientist involved with the program told The Oklahoman.

The news from Oklahoma?s largest university comes on the heels of a rash of deaths of young baboons at the sprawling breeding facility in Canadian County, which has drawn criticism from animal rights groups.

Inspection records maintained by the U.S. Department of Agriculture?s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service show that OU has been cited numerous times in recent years for not complying with the federal Animal Welfare Act, including one recent case involving university staff members who euthanized dogs by attaching a battery to the animals? hearts.

The Fort Reno Science Park, which has been operating since 2001, is primarily funded by the National Institutes of Health, a federal agency, and sends baboons all over the country to other research institutions and laboratories, said program spokesman James Tomasek.

In addition to Boren?s awareness of the public?s ?interest? in the baboon colony ? and animal testing in general ? other factors are playing a role in the program?s review.

Tomasek said university officials ?are evaluating three topics related to the program.? They include the development of a new research plan at OU?s Health Sciences Center and an assessment to see whether the program is sustainable  financially, especially with ?declining or uncertain federal research funding.?

?The president recognizes the public interest in the baboon program and wants to ensure that OU maintains a compliant program,? he said.

    Scores of baboons

Images captured last month by a local TV station?s helicopter pilot have renewed the public?s interest in the sprawling facility, which is home to scores of baboons that have been bred and lived their entire lives there in captivity.

University officials have been slow to provide information about the baboon breeding program, even though the facility is funded with public money.

Despite repeated requests by The Oklahoman, OU representatives did not provide several pieces of information related to the breeding facility, including copies of the program?s budget for the past five years, a list of universities or other entities that have acquired baboons from OU and population figures.

The university refused to provide a tour of the facility, claiming it would traumatize the animals but provided photos of the site late Friday.

Attempts to find out just how many baboons are currently living in El Reno were not successful, though USDA inspection reports do offer a glimpse.

  • Options are limited for treating mental illness in teens, children

By JACLYN COSGROVE Staff Writer This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it

Sometimes Dr. Timothy Newton wishes he had a ?phone-a-friend? option.

The 32-year-old family practice physician works out of a clinic in Cherokee, a northwest Oklahoma town of about 1,600 people.

About one-fifth of the children that he sees have a mental health issue, whether it be depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety or a mixture of all three.

Newton wants, at times, to pick up the phone and call a child and adolescent psychiatrist for advice on a prescription, but that?s not yet an option in Oklahoma.

?The hardest thing is when I get to a point where I feel uncomfortable giving kids heavier doses of medications or changing medications multiple times,? Newton said.
