Jewel is located right smack in the middle of Brookside. You can start the evening off at a nice restaurant and then party the night away at Jewel. You can occasionally catch a live show with the DJ spinning in between sets and nights without a band. They typically have a $5.00 - 7.00 cover charge and don't try walking in with your pants around your ankles. They strive to run an upscale nightclub experience and you will need to dress accordingly. If you are looking for a great night and like dancing this is one place you should mark on your list.

Been to many clubs and this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. All the way from lousy service, to overcrowded dance floor, to rude guests. I'll never go back, once was one time too many!

One of Tulsa's most popular clubs with some great dance music spinning up nightly. They also throw in a live band pretty frequently to keep the atmosphere mixed up. It can be a pain in the ass to get a drink if they don't have the second and third bars open.

Suede is the best bar on Brookside! The place is always packed with some of the hottest guys in Tulsa and the music is great. It can be difficult at times to get a drink but being a lady I usually find a way to get to the bar.

  • 2 bodies found in car in Spencer
    SPENCER -- The bodies of a man and woman were found in a car Friday by Oklahoma County sheriff's deputies.

    ?At this point it appears that both deceased had apparent head trauma,? spokesman Mark Myers said.

    Their identities have not been released, and the medical examiner hasn't examined the bodies yet.

    The sheriff's department received a call about 10:20 reporting suspicious activity at NE 34 and Wright Avenue, Myers said.

  • 7th victim of helicopter crash dies in hospital
    FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Authorities say the lone survivor of a mid-air crash of two medical helicopters has died at a hospital.

    Police and officials at Flagstaff Medical Center say 36-year-old James Taylor died Friday.

    He was a registered nurse flying on a helicopter taking a patient from the Grand Canyon to Flagstaff.

    The aircraft collided with another helicopter Sunday in a wooded area about a half-mile from the hospital.

    Authorities are still investigating the crash. The death toll is now seven.
