Rehab Lounge

The Rehab Lounge is located in Tulsa's Boston District and prides itself on being an upscale dance club with local and national DJs spining with a New York flavor. Topped off with a full bar, two story seating, and patio seating. Rebab is the hottest place to be seen!

Our thoughts on Rehab Lounge are that it is located smack in the middle of all things fun in the Boston District. It provides a great alternative to Brookside with a great party atmosphere. The drink prices were great in our opinion, $2.50 longnecks not sure on the mixed drink prices. The dance floor tends to get a little crowded as does the entire bar, so get there early and stake your claim. We had to pay a a $5.00 cover when we visited.

Rehab is great! The dance floor could be a little larger, but all in all it's a fun night out. Plus you have Mercury and the Sax Club right across the street. Rehab has great drink prices too! If you haven't been to Boston's District you are really missing out!

  • Result unchanged after Latimer County recount
WILBURTON ? John F. Medders remained a winner ? by six votes ? of the Latimer County District 2 County Commissioner post Friday following a recount of the votes cast in the Aug. 26 runoff. Each candidate gained two votes in the recount, but the hand count of all the ballots cast in the Democratic race left Medders, 65, of Buffalo Valley, ahead of Rayford Bratcher, 30, of Yanush. Bratcher led the runoff 497-491, and had 499 votes following the recount, with 493 votes cast for Bratcher. The re-tally was conducted in the Latimer County district courtroom by four county election board precinct workers.

  • OU scientists developing new anti-cancer drug
A drug designed to keep pancreatic cancer and other tumorous tissues from recurring is being developed by scientists at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

The medicine, probably in a pill or injectable form, would be given after patients are treated successfully using chemotherapy and radiation, said cancer researcher Dr. Courtney Houchen.

More than 400 Oklahomans are killed each year by pancreatic cancer, which is the fourth-leading cause of cancer fatalities in the United States, according to the National Cancer Institute.

Houchen said today at an Oklahoma City news conference that the drug has been effective in animal testing and cell cultures.
